My Pranams to Swami. First and foremost, I am indeed honoured to be given this enviable opportunity to pen a few words in this inaugural newsletter of Sathya Sai Baba Bhajan Unit of Taman Yarl or also known as Sathya Sai Prashanti Nilayam (SSPN).

As Swami says, “Mankind can win happiness only through unity and not through diversity. If thoughts and feelings run along the routes of distinction and division, happiness is beyond reach, and peace cannot be experienced. Consider the One Indivisible Ocean as the goal. Unity with Purity leads to Divinity”. This excerpt from Prasanthi Vahini has been the cornerstone in bringing about the existence of SSPN.
From our humble beginnings in January at the Late Uncle Satgunam’s house, we have progressed and moved into a new premise in July. Various events were celebrated in high spirits. Just five months into its inception, the centre is thriving with activities of various kinds. The various wings of the unit i.e. Service, Education and Spiritual have been able to carry out a range of activities throughout the year, thus, fulfilling its objectives. You will be able to see this in detail in the subsequent pages of this eventful and meaningful newsletter
Sathya Sai ‘Prashanti Nilayam’, ‘the abode of pure and eternal peace’ is the name of the bhajan unit. Each and every devotee strives to attain peace of mind. Hence, we sincerely pray that Swami turns SSPN into a concrete platform for the spiritual growth of devotees as ‘Self-Realization’ is the ultimate goal of human birth.
Not to forget, we are fortunate to have an extremely reliable and active group of devotees who have been at the forefront in realizing all our planned activities. Their selfless service is greatly appreciated.
